The Role

The role of Business Development Manager is really important to us. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing large opportunities. supporting senior management with strategic and tactical opportunities and liaising with other divisions to create propositions for new and existing customers

This is a home-based role with access to our offices in Crewe and Milton Keynes. Both offices are a short walk from the train station.

What would your day-to-day look like?

• Generate new business leads through internal activity, supported by small inbound leads. Primarily self-gen, a strong contact book of the rental/leasing, plant, and commercial vehicles business would be highly advantageous.
• Manage weighted and unweighted pipelines within Salesforce
• Deliver a sales plan in line with targets and expectations
• Develop internal relationships across the Radius group to uncover opportunities and new business 

• Sell our product portfolio across the UK and other markets as appropriate 

What do we expect of you?

• We require 4 years+ as a proven field sales BDM, although exceptional candidates will be considered.
• Self-motivated with the ability to ‘hit the ground running
• Proven to be excellent at self-generating new business 
• Contacts and experience with Plant and Construction, Commercial Vehicles, and leasing / rental companies would be an advantage
• Ability to hold and professionally structure internal and external meetings 
• A positive, ambitious, and committed approach
