The Role
We are a leading digital bank on a mission to disrupt the banking industry. We’ve built an app with smart money management tools to help our customers live healthier financial life. We also offer groundbreaking B2B banking and payments services.
Reporting to the Insolvency and Debt Management Team Leader, we are looking for a specialist to help support our growing lending business.
Responsibilities
- Manage insolvency proceedings for businesses and consumers, including raising proof of debt and proxy forms
- Manage debt management plans, including communication with third parties
- Manage remittances for dissolved and liquidated companies
- Handle customer communications regarding insolvency proceedings and debt management plans
- Support with an allocation of the Starling loan account
- Proactively seek ways to improve current processes and procedures
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, both with internal and vital external contacts.
Requirements
- Great interpersonal skills, able to respond to customer queries efficiently and sympathetically
- Organised, with the ability to deliver to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities within a dynamic environment
- Operate well within a team environment
- Strong knowledge of insolvency proceedings
- Strong understanding of debt management plans
- Knowledge of business dissolution/liquidation
- Understanding of relevant regulations, including the Lending Standards Board and CONC 7
