The Role

As a product designer, you will work on projects end-to-end, across research, conception, prototyping and testing. You will have a key focus on advocating for the user by delivering elegant and intuitive designs that support our many clients.

You will also

• Design experiences and interfaces with the latest UX, UI and prototyping tools
• Conduct workshops, interviews and usability tests directly with clients and other stakeholders.
• Be involved in product strategy from the very beginning, offering your knowledge and creativity to help shape product direction and turn ideas or insights into workable designs.
• Be comfortable working closely with both front-end and back-end engineers to ensure high quality implementation of all design solutions.
• Be confident using, and building, design systems and UI libraries to ensure a cohesive Lavanda product experience.
• Spearhead the development and growth of the design practice across the wider business

Minimum Qualifications

• A great portfolio showcasing your experience of UX and UI design in a commercial environment
• 3+ years of commercial design experience.
• Experience in end-to-end product design in a B2B Software as a Service (SaaS) company.

Preferred Experience

• Experience building detailed UI designs and clickable prototypes for complex software products
• Experience with Figma and especially Figma’s more advanced prototyping features
• Experience working with and developing design systems
• Experience designing with progressive disclosure
• Experience designing great onboarding and product-led growth experiences
• Experience managing sophisticated, feature-rich B2B Software as a Service (SaaS) applications.
• Experience working directly with customers to tease out problems and design solutions
• Experience driving activation and engagement in a SaaS product through the design of product-led growth strategies.
• Knowledge of the hospitality, travel or residential real estate domains.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with appreciation of how great user experience (UX) can drive growth
