The Role

Like many technology companies, we are primarily working remotely at Starling and we think we will be for a while to come. We’re open to applications from across the UK.

Requirements

We have built our entire banking platform in-house from scratch since 2016 and mostly in Java. We are looking for people who want to work on building the tooling that is used by our engineers daily. An overview of what we are looking for:

• Strong foundation in Java
• Knowledge of CI/CD and build tools
• Passionate about engineering productivity
• You enjoy writing tools to help engineers work more quickly and efficiently
• Experience in Go would be useful but not essential
• You have an interest (but not necessarily experience) in everything from infrastructure to front-end
