The Role

In this role you will focus on delivering strategic, cross functional programmes across Product & Tech as well as the wider business. Including a range of delivery programmes including purely technical or software delivery, business led, process improvement led or transformation led programmes. You’ll work with a wide range of people from Delivery Managers to Engineers and the wider teams outside of P&T in order to align on scope, delivery methodologies, implementation and delivery of cross functional initiatives.

As part of this varied role, we’re counting on you to:

• Be the link between internal Product & Tech teams and business partners to ensure information is shared and that programmes are delivered appropriately to meet agreed outcomes
• Have a solid understanding of delivery and programme management best practice and trends and be able to apply these on a large scale
• Co-author and contribute to an Enterprise Delivery asset repository (e.g., delivery playbooks, templates, frameworks, ways of working assets, governance structures etc)
• Supervise key risks and priorities, flagging programme-level risks before they become issues, ensuring these risks are being mitigated
• Ensure alignment with governance including preparation of programme documentation and reports (e.g., metrics, data, financial, delivery plans, risk registers, progress/status reports)

Here’s what we’re looking for from you…

• Experience in programme delivery with a background in any IT field or software engineering
• Lead large scale, cross-functional programmes in an agile environment while working with autonomous teams, while advocating for data led methodologies and interpreting metrics, dashboards and reports to measure success
• Evidence of process-led thinking to help craft programme outcomes, utilising this to define & deliver concurrent programmes to a BAU state. Ideally in an ambiguous environment
• Ability to see the “big” picture and how people, process and technology interconnect. Holistic (end to end) thinking with excellent business analysis and process mapping covering business processes as well as how they integrate with technical systems and tools.
• Passionate about ‘being better’ with the ability to create an appetite for continuous improvement across the organisation and delivering programmes to implement this
• A high energy, positive, resourceful individual who is capable of quickly taking control of their responsibilities and establishing themself as a credible strategic partner. All while engaging and motivating your team, peers and management partners
• Proficiency in JIRA including scripting, EazyBI, creating Confluence pages highly appreciated
