New Accelerator Programme for Female Entrepreneurs in Harrow
London Business Partnership (LBP) has announced the launch of its new free Harrow Female Startup Accelerator Programme. Funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund through London Borough of Harrow, the six-week intensive business start-up programme aims to empower Harrow’s female residents with the skills and confidence needed to launch their own businesses.
Harrow Female Startup Accelerator Programme
Delivered in Partnership with Metro Bank and with tailored support, coaching and mentoring, the programme will guide participants through the development of entrepreneurial skills, the creation of business plans, and the preparation of pitch decks. By the end of the programme, participants will be ready to launch their businesses, with the possibility of pitching for investment.
Each participant will benefit from four workshops including writing a perfect pitch, one-to-one sessions, two peer-to-peer sessions, which will primarily be online. Face-to-face options available upon request. Women will also be invited to networking events.
The first cohort starts this week but is already fully subscribed. However, LBP is currently encouraging women to apply for the second round beginning in October. The application deadline is on Friday 19 October.

Mentors and Speakers
The experts leading the participants are two female entrepreneurs and business mentors who have over 60 years’ experience between them.
LBP’s co-founder and managing director, Naima Omasta-Milsom, will be joined by Lisa Maynheer, as they deliver the comprehensive programme to help women manifest their dreams of running a business.
Naima Omasta-Milsom, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with London Borough of Harrow and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund to deliver this exciting accelerator for ambitious local women. With our September cohort already full, we need 15 more women, who either have a business idea or wish to explore self-employment options, to be part of the second cohort.
“As long as women are living in Harrow and are not yet trading, we encourage candidates to register on our website today. The programme is entirely free yet offers high quality business expertise. As a result we hope a diversity of women will sign up and have a great start to their entrepreneurial journey.”
